Data sources
- Every year, to gather information for the annual Global TB Control report (http://www.who.int/tb/publications/global_report/en/), WHO requests information from national TB control programmes (NTPs) or relevant public health authorities in more than 200 countries or territories via a standard data collection form. The data collection form for the 2008 TB Control Report included specific questions in the areas of ACSM, community involvement in TB control and the Patients' Charter for TB Care. The information contained in the HBC country profiles includes this data, as were submitted by the country's public health authorities.
- All information related to Global Fund grants (including list of ACSM activities contained in individual country proposals) were obtained from the Global Fund's website:http://www.theglobalfund.org/en/.
