ACSM Subgroup meeting
Crowne Plaza Hotel, Lille
24-25 October 2011
The ACSM Subgroup held its meeting before the Union Conference from 24 to 25 October. Around 40 people participated in the 1.5 day meeting, with an agenda that was light on presentations and gave ample time for discussion and input from meeting participants. This year, more than previous years, many national partnerships were represented: PhliCAT, UK Coalition, India, Canada, Uganda, Italy, Swaziland, Kenya. NTP Managers from Dominican Republic, Swaziland and Kenya were present, all having a very active role in their national partnerships.
The three major themes discussed during the ACSM Subgroup meeting were discussions around the concept of ACSM, challenges in monitoring and evaluating ACSM activities, and ways to improve Subgroup member engagement. Meeting participants also agreed on some key Subgroup activities in 2012 - to be shared with the wider ACSM Subgroup.
