ACSM Subgroup meeting
11-12 November 2012
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
The Advocacy, Communication and Social Mobilization (ACSM) Subgroup held its annual Subgroup meeting on 11-12 November 2012, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Around 40 participants joined the 1.5 day meeting, which focused on three main topics:
- Sharing ACSM good practices
- Discussing the future of "ACSM"
- Improving Subgroup engagement

ACSM Core Group and Subgroup meeting
23-25 October 2011
Lille, France
The Stop TB Partnership's Advocacy, Communication and Social Mobilization (ACSM) Core Group and Subgroup held its annual meeting in Lille, France in October 2011. The meetings, held prior to the Union World Conference on Lung Health, focused on the following three key topics: ACSM concept, M&E for ACSM and improving Subgroup engagement.

ACSM at Berlin Union Conference 2010
Like past years, the ACSM Core Group and Subgroup will hold its annual meeting in conjunction with the Union World Conference on Lung Health to be held in Berlin, Germany from 11-15 November, 2010.
The ACSM Subgroup has an increased presence at the Union Conference this year, which includes the launch of the ACSM good practice document at the Stop TB Symposium (11 November) and an ACSM Symposium in the official Union Conference programme (14 November).

ACSM Core Group and Subgroup Meeting

Cancun, Mexico
The Stop TB Partnership's Advocacy, Communication and Social Mobilization Core Group and Subgroup held its annual meeting in Cancun, prior to the Union World Conference on Lung Health. During the meetings, attended by more than 60 participants, ACSM colleagues from around the world shared best practices and agreed on priority actions to be taken by the Subgroup in 2010.

ACSM Working Group Joint Core Group Meeting
15 October 2008 - Paris, France

The two Core Groups of the ACSM Working Group (Global Advocacy and ACSM at Country Level) will hold their annual meeting in Paris, prior to the 39th Union World Union Conference on Lunch Health. There will be a joint Core Group plenary in the morning to discuss the future of the ACSM Working Group, followed by separate Core Group meetings to discuss direction and priority action plans for the respective Sub Groups in 2009.

Advocacy, Communication and Social Mobilization Working Group Meets in Cape Town
5-6 November 2007 - Cape Town, South Africa
The Stop TB Partnership's Working Group on Advocacy, Communication and Social Mobilization held its first full meeting since the Working Group's launch in 2005. The two-day meeting, which was held prior to the Union World Conference on Lung Health, was attended by close to 100 participants, including members of the Working Group as well as other interested parties.

This is a very important meeting of the Subgroup as we begin to implement the 10 Year Strategic Framework for Action and look towards establishing an integrated mechanism to roll out technical assistance and supporting countries and regions in the development and implementation of their ACSM strategies.
The subgroup meeting will be held in collaboration with a meeting of the Task Force on Community Involvement in TB Control created at last year Subgroup meeting.
