Session on partnering initiatives to stop TB at country level

A session on partnering initiatives to stop TB at country level was held in the context of the Subgroup on ACSM at Country-Level meeting. The session focused on show casing the experiences of countries where the national TB programme and other partners are currently collaborating to implement a shared national TB plan.

Symposium "Innovative advocacy, communication and social mobilization to address TB and TB/HIV challenges"

During this symposium, Dr Themba Dlamini, NTP Manager, Swaziland illustrated the country experience in building partnerships to bring nongovernmental organizations on board and harness their contribution to TB control.

Exchange market for partnering initiatives to stop TB at country level

The exchange market for partnering initiatives at country level was an informal session to discuss challenges that countries are facing in their partnering initiatives and find possible solutions in a participatory way.

National partnerships and ambassadors in the Eastern Mediterranean Region - Lessons learnt
13 November 2010 (11:00 - 12:00) , Berlin Convention Centre

This session, organized by the WHO Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office, focused on sharing national experiences of partnerships and engaging celebrities in promotion of TB care, both successes and challenges followed by a discussion on what works and what not in case of such interventions.
