Stop TB Partnership

The National Stop TB Partnership in Egypt

Stop TB Egypt: was initiated by the National TB Program (NTP) in Egypt in 2009. It is supported by the regional partnership, Eastern Mediterranean Partnership which operates in many countries in the Middle East and Northern Africa. The partnership engages partners from the business sector, the media and civil society as well as other governmental partners besides the NTP. The main activities are to organize awareness-raising campaigns and patient support activities. Fundraising events during Ramadan have led to in-kind and cash contributions that were then donated to TB hospitals. Egypt was one of the many countries that were involved in the Million Youth March to stop TB.
