The National Stop TB Partnership in Jordan
Stop TB Jordan was formed in 2006 by the National TB Programme Manager and currently includes the Ministries of Defence (including the royal medical services) and the Ministry of the Interior (including prisons). These public-public partnerships allow Stop TB Jordan to increase case detection among vulnerable groups, such as prisoners. The partnership hosts policy seminars, World TB Day events and frequent meetings with non-state partners such as NGOs and the business sector to discuss and recognize their contribution to TB prevention, care and control.
