About TBTEAM - Benefits to countries

With a high-quality, well organized network of technical partners, countries could more easily implement the Stop TB Strategy, move closer to the achievement of the 2015 Millennium Development Goals and make most effective use of Global Fund and other external resources. TBTEAM (the TB TEchnical Assistance Mechanism) builds upon the previously established Interagency Coordinating Committees, Stop TB Partnerships or otherwise named TB partner coordination bodies as well as all technical bodies of the Stop TB Partnership (e.g. Green Light Committee, Global Laboratory Initiative, Global Drug Facility, TBCARE).
