| Comments: | The activities targeted by the technical assistance were related to the LNR capacities for performing cultures, identification of mycobacterium and resistance testing.
1. First, a needs assessment was performed at the LNR and in the clinical services identified for the care and treatment of patients with resistant TB.
2. Working meetings were organized with all stakeholders
3. Based on the assessment and information collected during the meetings, an action plan with a timeframe was designed and discussed with Malian colleagues. This action plan is presently under review at the national Program for the fight against TB.
