| Comments: | WHO/EMRO hired a consultant (Dr Naji) in Morocco from 28 February to 25 May 2009 (APW contract) to assist ACSM component of R6 grant (started from 1 July 2007). Dr Naji is Moroccan and is a distinguished expert on ACSM in health. He particularly helped the national TB programme and partners in developing national ACSM guidelines and advocacy tools including a website. He also worked for expanding partnerships for TB care in Morocco. However, it was realized that national capacity for ACSM implementation was still limited, and thus WHO/EMRO will provide additional TA to further train the national & sub-national TB programme and partner staff on the use of the guidelines (new EMRO/ACSM TBTEAM OGAG support)
