| Comments: | WHO/EMRO staff (Dr Bassili) visited Tunisia from 9 to 12 July 2009 to assist the national TB programme and partners in conducting MESST workshop for R8 grant. The R8 grant is under preparation for grant signature, and thus the MESST workshop was organized in collaboration with GFATM. She was accompanied by GF staff (Dr Aziz). More than 40 participants attended the MESST workshop, and agreed upon the key issues for the strengthening of M/E and a costed workplan was developed. R8 grant is expected to be signed soon. Dr Amal's trip was covered by GFATM because it was for the MESST workshop.
