| Comments: | WHO/EMRO & WHO/Jordan sent a consultant (Dr Dara) to Jordan from 15 July to 3 August 2008 to assist the review of TB care and activities supported by GF R5 (started from 1 Jul 2006, phase 2 from 1 August 2008). Dr Dara made comprehensive review of the national TB programme, particularly with focus on monitoring and evaluation. He conducted detailed verification of the TB notifications and data available at the central unit of the national TB programme. Dr Dara also assisted the national programme in developing the national multi-year strategic plan for TB care. His review was supportive for the national TB programme to summarize the phase 1 activities and move to the phase 2 which was started from 1 August 2008.
