| Comments: | WHO/EMRO staff (Dr Baghdadi) visited Yemen from 17 to 22 Aug 08 to assist PPM activities in the GF R4 grant (started from 01 Jul 05, phase 2 from 01 Jul 07). Dr Baghdadi assisted promotion of PPM through strengthening of M/E component in TB care. Dr Baghdadi trained in this regard trainer of training (ToT) on the innovative electronic nominal registration system (ENRS) which is composed of individual, computerized TB register, lab register, suspect register & contact register. ENRS would allow NTP to monitor the contribution of private and non-NTP public sector in TB care, either in a form of referral of TB suspects or notification of diagnosed patients. R4 Grant showed good performance (B1 grate last several quarters).
