| Terms of Reference: | Title: Overview of the PAL implementation, assistance on developing of list of equipments and orientation mission to Karakalpakstan
Time of the mission: 01 December to 4 of December 2009
Responsibilities:
i) Clarify and ensure understanding of PAL among the stakeholders met
ii) Identify and help address possible overlaps and duplications between PAL at national level (GFATM funded), if applicable, and identify possible synergies with PAL in Karakalpakstan
iii) Discuss and outline next steps of PAL guideline principles for Karakalpakstan (with work orientations and time frame)
iv) Development and discussion of work agenda for the potential (to be founded and created in Karakalpakstan) NWG (national working group) on PAL
v) Discuss and explain the principles of training material development in line with country possibilities
vi) Discuss the need of PAL site-piloting and the models of site-piloting that can be undertaken in the Karakalpak setting
vii) Assess the various health care facilities in Karakalpakstan as timeframe of the mission permits, and advise on procurement and (re)-distribution of resources
viii) Prepare list of PAL equipments
