| Comments: | The WHO expert, Dr Amal Bassili, in cooperation with Dr Samiha Baghdad visited Afghanistanin order to assist the NTP on enhancing its overal M & E strategies at national, provicial, district and local level. The mission succeeded in advising on implementation of activities of National TB Control Program to strengthen the links in data reporting and recording, imprvoving data quality assurance, in cooperation with reprsentatives of all involved levels, from local to national. As a result of this mission, the national M&E plan has been extensively reviewed and updated, and addressing possible gaps in human and other resource manangment and allocation. During the course of the visit the training manuals of TB were also reviewed and recommendations made for partial adapatation. |
