| Comments: | The missino was carried out by 2 external international experts, Dr Kim and Professor Chang, who reviewed the functioning of internal lab quality assurance system. Additionally, they provided on the spot training to lab staff at different levels and laboratories throughout the country. During the mission, a special focus was laid on external quality assurance and drug resistance issues, and this in particular in view of the high turn over rate of staff. The experts' visit contributed to the revision of national guidliens and SOP for lab technicians thus furhter improved the quality of TB diagnosis. This is in line with the R6 GF. |
