| Comments: | TBTEAM supported Thailand from 24-29 January 2011 to assess grant performance and prepare the necessary documentation for a successful request for phase 2 Round 8 funding. As requested by the Principal Recipient, the consultants supported the Sub-Recipients to (1) analyse implementation and find solutions to challenges; (2) complete a table outlining programmatic achievements, financial expenditure, and justification for proposed activities to be included in the phase 2 work plan; and (3) revise phase 2 work plans based on lessons learned from phase 1. The consultants supported the PR to complete (1) a draft performance framework for phase 2; and (2) a draft CCM request form incorporating findings from the analysis of phase 1 implementation. Phase 2 was subsequently approved making an additional USD 18 million available over the next three years for TB control activities in Thailand. |
