- To make recommendation on the needs for HR in management of MDR-TB at central, provincial and district levels, roles and responsibilities at each level
- To make recommendations on improvement of the MDR-TB case finding, to provide inputs on the MDR-TB laboratory diagnostic algorithm for finalisation of this document
- To assess the current status of laboratory services to advise whether the NTP can start the GLC project in an extended scale in 2011
- To review the 2nd line anti-TB drug procurement plan for 2011 and 2012 and to advice on the approximate date of the first shipment
- To make recommendations on the model of community management of MDR-TB cases taking into account the local context
- To advise on improvement of MDR-TB case management and treatment outcomes
- To provide advice on improvement of the information system and data management
