| Terms of Reference: | • to familiarize personnel working in TB control on national (NTP, NRL) and territorial (TB cabinets, TB coordinators, epidemiologist) levels with guidance on how to reduce the risk of TB transmission in healthcare facilities, congregate settings and households,
• what to do and how to prioritize TB infection control measures at national level,
• to submit elements of WHO-recommended policy on TB infection control;
• general infection control efforts (cough etiquette, respiratory hygiene and personal protective equipment);
• airborne infection control efforts (patient placement, adequately ventilated areas, particulate respirators) that apply to all health-care facilities caring for patients with, or suspected of having, airborne infections;
• TB infection control in households and congregate settings (design of buildings and use of space, increased emphasis on particular activities such as integration with other health-system efforts; involvement of civil society in the design, development, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation of TB infection control).
