1. Familiarize with the NTP in Vietnam
2. Assess progress of the implementation of, and provide technical assistance to, the programmatic management of MDR-TB (PMDT), including:
- clinical management of MDR patients through observation, discussions and participation in clinical council meetings
- implementation and harmonization of PMDT among all treatment units
- implementation of recommendations in recent reports by GLC/PMDT and IC consultants
- scaling up of PMDT
3. Write a field visit report with recommendations and next steps
