| Comments: | From July 25 to August 5th, PAHO conducted a mission to Nicaragua to give Technical Assistance to the national laboratory network and review the technical procedures for diagnosis, as a need manifested by country to improve their Global Fund project implementation. During this mission procedures for culture and DST were reviewed and main recommendations to improve them were done. Additionally TA was given to improve the protocol for the next surveillance of drug resistance survey. Finally the system for quality assurance was evaluated and major recommendations were given. |
