| Terms of Reference: | The main objective was to assist the NTLP and the study team for the TB prevalence survey for finalizing the survey preparations. These preparations had been put on hold due to continuous difficulties to full funding for the survey. The visit was done in collaboration with WHO-Geneva and WHO-AFRO.
All outstanding decisions with regards to the survey protocol were discussed and agreed upon. All prepared Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) were revisited and updated. Missing SOPS were identified and composed by the survey team. A new time line was discussed that included training sessions and pilot activities. It is projected that training will take place in September 2011, and piloting in 2 clusters in October 2011. It is anticipated that before the end of 2011, data collection in 4 clusters will be finalized.
It was agreed that KNCV will be present at the training session. Funding future TA by KNCV was discussed during the debriefing. It was decided that NTLP would include funds for this activity in their restructuring of funds from GFATM.
