| Terms of Reference: | Ethiopia completed its first national TB prevalence survey with funding from GF Rd 6 and other partners in June 2011. Preliminary results will be available by the end of October 2011 and a dissemination event is scheduled on 15 December. The WHO Global Task Force on TB Impact Measurement is seeking a consultant to assist with preparations for the dissemination of survey results and subsequent programme planning.
Interested consultants should apply to the Task Force secretariat with a proposal (including budget) and CV by sending an email to onozakii@who.int with cc to birungiv@who.int and tbimpactmeasurement@who.int. The deadline is 31 October 2011.
Tasks:
1. Assist Ethiopian stakeholders and staff in the WHO Country Office to prepare for the workshop in which survey results will be disseminated (the workshop is scheduled on 15 Dec 2012 in Addis Ababa).
2. Assist the survey committee to finalize the survey report.
3. Summarize the lessons learned from the survey and their programmatic implications.
ONE external consultant to lead this work is required. WHO staff members will partially join the activities to provide advice.
