To provide technical assistance to Ukraine in developing a protocol and implementation plan for a national anti-TB drug resistance survey (DRS).
Objectives
• To assess and analyse the country capability to conduct a national DRS.
• To discuss the roles and responsibilities of the partners involved in the DRS.
• To provide recommendations on sampling, methodologies and quality assurance to
perform a high quality DRS.
• To decide on the laboratories that should be involved in the survey.
• To agree upon -with all the partners- and finalize the draft of the DRS protocol.
