Title:Measuring Matters: Practical Approaches to ACSM Monitoring & Evaluation Strategies

Terms of Reference:The workshop will provide participants with an overview of strategies to address the unique challenges of monitoring and evaluating Advocacy Communication and Social Mobilization (ACSM) activities in support of TB control efforts. The new Stop TB Guidelines for monitoring and evaluating ACSM will be presented, along with several tools and case studies on the topic, including a presentation on the experience of PATH Tanzania’s project in evaluating ACSM to improve TB diagnosis at the district level. Participants will discuss many challenges related to M&E for ACSM, including the limited capacity for M&E in many contexts. The UNION’s Southeast Asia Regional office will share a new software to help countries monitor ACSM activities and budgets and organize data for reporting purposes.
