| Terms of Reference: | A research methodology and proposal development workshop was held in Jordan during 24-28 June, 2012, for NTP Iraq and partners. The objective of the workshop was to develop protocols addressing the challenges facing tuberculosis control while strengthening the research capacity of the national disease control programmes. 15 participants attended the workshop and were distributed into 4 groups. The workshop consisted of several modules. Each module was related to a methodological topic that was presented in a plenary session followed by a practical application of the topic in the different groups. During the developmental process of the protocol, each section was presented and peer reviewed by an expert panel for further improvement. 4 draft protocols were finally developed. |
