• Evaluate the laboratories proficiency testing activities and performance;
• Provide technical assistance on the implementation of rapid diagnostics endorsed by WHO;
• Discuss the requirements for conducting a drug resistance survey;
• Evaluate the suitability and the capacity of the NRL for designation as a candidate SRL;
• Evaluate progress with implementation of recommendations from the August 2010 assessment mission; and,
• Prepare a technical report and submit to WHO, Geneva and the National Reference Laboratory in Teheran.
