| Title: | Mid-Term Review: National TB Prevalence Survey, Tanzania |

| Terms of Reference: | Tanzania has been implementing its 1st national TB disease prevalence survey with funding from the GF Rd6 since December 2011. Technical support for the prevalence survey has been led by Dr Frank van Leth of KNCV in collaboration with the Global Task Force on TB Impact Measurement. The task force reviewed the study protocol and participated in the final preparation workshop to develop SOPs in May 2011. As of the end of April, 25 clusters among 62 were completed. The survey comes to a half way in May 2012. A joint mid-term review mission is proposed to assure quality survey operation and to facilitate technical exchanges between African countries. |
