| Terms of Reference: | Goal:
1. To provide technical assistance in strengthening TB Laboratory capacity for GeneXpert implementation.
Objectives
1. To establish a national Technical Working Group (TWG) on GeneXpert implementation
2. To assist the TWG in establishment of mechanism for GeneXpert implementation.
3. To assist in development of the National plan for XpertMTB/RIF implementation.
4. To assist in the creation of clinical protocols and diagnostic algorithms for XpertMTB/RIF.
Expected Outputs
1. Established Xpert TWG (June)
2. TWG, with support from TB CARE, will develop a country strategy for Xpert implementation that provides diagnostic algorithm, clinical protocol and M&E plan (August-September).
Reporting
Summary TWG report will be provided within 2 weeks after 20 July 2012.
