| Comments: | Training in quality assurance of culture and DST for M tuberculosis
The training was conducted for intermediate level laboratories that perform culture investigation and for the NRL laboratory staff who perform culture and DST. The training took place at the NRL from November 6-9, 2012. It included the following training modules: Culture methods for M tuberculosis; Proportional method DST; Methods for internal quality control of culture and DST; Development of SOPs for culture and DST laboratories and Indicators for monitoring culture laboratory performance.
As a result of practical work during the training, SOPs for conventional culture and DST were drafted.
