1.To assess the present status and evaluate the current achievement in managing DR-TB since inception of treatment in Bangladesh; To analyse data on patients on treatment 2.To assess the situation with procurement and supply management of second-line drugs including ancillary drugs and other logistics; 3.To provide guidance on MIS. 4.To review and revise the Expansion plan for programmatic management of drug-resistant TB including c-PMDT and diagnosis of DR-TB
Key issues to be evaluated and reviewed:
1.Interim treatment outcomes and case-holding of patients currently enrolled; 2.Coordination between the project and the community, NTP, partner NGOs and the second-line drug-procurement agency; 3.Case finding strategies. 4.Treatment strategies, administration and follow-up; 5.Management system for second-line TB drugs in terms of quantification method (forecasting), procurement, importation, storage, distribution and delivery to the patients, and scale up plan for enrolment in the next 1 year period; 6.Infection control strategies; 7.Information system and data management. 8.Expansion plan
