Terms of Reference
1. Review existing ACSM strategies to ensure the evolving ACSM pedagogy continues to be data-driven, results-oriented and responsive to country needs; determine how best it can be implemented and identify weaknesses and strengths. PNG is diversified so may require different approaches in different regions or among ethnic groups.
2. Review existing links in areas of work overlooked such as TB/HIV communications, The Patient’s Charter and country-level media relations.
3. Review leverage relationships to satisfy resource needs.
4. Recommend and identify conditions necessary to ensure ACSM remains relevant as a vital tool against TB.
5. Review previous ACSM report and analyze what has been accomplished. Conduct a possible stakeholder mapping of groups and organizations engaged in country ACSM activities.
6. Conduct rapid needs assessment from discussions with various stakeholder groups, including the Health Promotion Branch of the MOH. This will help determine their current capacity to implement ACSM and their need for resources and future capacity-building efforts.
