(1) to equip participants with the technical expertise and practical skills required for the assessment, supervision and monitoring of the programmatic management of drug resistant TB;
(2) to equip participants with problem solving capacity and diplomacy to ensure fruitful communication with clients at all levels, including ministries; and
(3) to develop a pool of trained regional PMDT consultants in WPR, meeting current global criteria as defined by the Green Light Committee and TBTEAM.
