| Terms of Reference: | Purpose of the mission was to follow-up on previous mission recommendations and to provide technical assistance to health authorities in the field of TB infection control and recommend measures to improve TB-IC on National level as well as selected TB facilities (Treatment departments, MDR-TB department)
The major objectives of the mission was to access newly built facility in Peja, whether conditions in the facility are suitable for accommodation of MDR-TB ward and if any additional means of Infection Control, particularly engineering control measures are needed to be completed before building will start functioning.
During facility assessment visits consultant conducted meetings with administration and staff involved in TB infection control. Throughout these meetings the role of the visit, main findings, existing gaps and ways of its solutions were discussed.
