| Title: | Training of Trainers on X/MDR-TB Management |

| Terms of Reference: | The scope of work includes development of a set of training modules to implement training of trainers based on the needs assessment and task analysis; provision to the participants the updated theoretical knowledge on basics of M/XDR-TB treatment and management (identified specific topics), learning principles, needs and methodologies. Particularly, this course prepares participants to provide effectively formal and informal in-service training to professional colleagues and peers. The consultant should provide objective-based learning modules on: “Adult learning principles”; “Training planning/ implementation and evaluation”; “Selection of training methodologies” ; “Effective communication strategies” as well as in closed collaboration with M/XDR TB expert develop “Practicuum and Feedback framework” with “Exercise book(s) ” on developed and improved teaching techniques.
The overall outcome of this training is improved M/XDR-TB management at regional levels through expansion and conduction of similar trainings at regional levels.

| Comments: | The participants of TOT on MDR TB were TB specialists working at the central level (National TB Programme (NTP) office); TB specialists from TB inpatient departments, as well as TB specialists from TB cabinets. The overall feedback from the participants was enormously positive with huge willingness to use skills acquired during the TOT in their future work.
The facilitators will provide final report and all modules of TOT trainings on 19 October 2012. They will also provide written evaluation of each participant separately with assessment of capacity of each of them to hold further trainings on MDR TB management on regional level.
