Activities: ? Develop and agree a detailed work plan covering the consultancy deliverables and timeframe to be agreed in advance of the contract start date with the IFRC TB Technical Focal Point and the IFRC Country Representative in Niger ? Desk review of all documents related to RD10 TB treatment grant Niger. Documents include: Global Fund Board approved proposal and support documents, documents handed over to IFRC by CCM Niger, all relevant technical guidelines from WHO and other technical organizations ? Identify any missing documentation that should be requested from in-country partners ? Review progress on the RD 10 HSS grant Niger as relevant to the roll out of the RD 10 TB treatment grant Niger ? Through CCM Niger and IFRC country office, organize meetings with all relevant in-county partners including PNLT, WHO, CRS, Damien Foundation, IFRC ? Update all TB and MDR-TB related data in the proposal including: target population, TB burden nationally, TB burden in key affected populations ? Review and update all TB technical aspects of the proposal including: diagnosis and treatment (strategies, protocols, HR, commodities and equipment), training of health staff, capacity building of health staff, links between facility and community components of diagnosis and treatment ? Identify potential programme gaps and implementation challenges and discuss with relevant IFRC Technical Focal Points (such as TB, PSM) and LFA review process consultant as relevant |
