| Title: | Joint Monitoring Mission of the National TB Program in Lao PDR |

| Terms of Reference: | To review all aspects of the current TB program and to re-orient NTP strategies and interventions towards increasing detection and early treatment for all TB cases.
JMM team will be divided in 3 groups composed of international experts, MoH/TB program focal points and local MoH/TB program staff and NTP implementing partners . The JMM teams will:
• Evaluate all TB control interventions conducted by NTP and partners in Lao PDR versus strategies and plan through:
o Review NTP documents (national strategy, plans, guidelines, reports)
o Review NTP data
o Review the findings of the prevalence survey
o Visit health facilities and laboratories at all levels (central, province, district and health centres)
o Interview TB patients.
• To evaluate TB programme current achievements
• To identify challenges
• To recommend interventions, priorities with time bounds
• To revise the National TB Strategic Plan for the period 2013-2017.
• Prepare a report with findings and recommendations on priority interventions and roadmaps for improving organizational, technical and administrative aspects of TB control and for finalizing the National TB strategic Plan 2011-2015.
