| Title: | Technical assistance mission on TB Laboratory Plan development in line with "Partnership project for TB control" funded by USAID |

| Terms of Reference: | • Technical support in revising and finalizing the recently developed draft diagnostic algorithm and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for Xpert MTB/RIF implementation in Uzbekistan.
• To assist in the development of the draft National TB Laboratory plan.
• To make an inventory of the needs to revise existing normative documents, SOPs and algorithms for smear microscopy, culture in solid and in liquid media and the line probe assay, that are currently used in the TB laboratory network in Uzbekistan and to provide necessary recommendations to improve them, if it is needed.
• Visits to various laboratories to assess the current needs and determine the gaps in the TB laboratory network.
• Formulate and submit a report on the mission containing a list of next steps and recommendations.
