i. The consultant(s) will undertake one on-site mission from 22 April 2013 in Côte d’Ivoire. The duration of the mission will be determined by the necessary meetings and visits and is expected to last about 5 days.
ii. The mission will be organized in coordination with the respective stakeholders in the country, including Ministry of Health personnel responsible for the laboratories and the national TB control programmes, WHO TB focal point in the country and the region responsible for TB and laboratory, staff from FIND and any other stakeholders supporting the laboratories conducting DST for TB. Logistics for the visits will be the responsibility of contracted party. The mission is not expected to require visits outside of Abidjan.

| Comments: | If you are interested in participating in this bidding process, can you please send your proposal (in French) by 20 February 2013 to falzond@who.int. Your proposal should include the following: • proof of expertise, capacity and experience in making similar assessments for data requirements • proof of past implementation of an electronic system for TB in a low-resource setting preferably using an open source solution • a statement of your capacity to undertake phase 2 if necessary • CVs of the consultants identified for the mission • work references (individuals or publications) • your costs for the assessment, fully itemised (salary, travel, per diem, etc.) • confirmation of your availability for the assessment mission from 22 April 2013
Staff identified should be fluent in French and English (good French communication and writing skills). The main language used during the mission will be French. Experience in MDR-TB programme management and laboratory information systems will be considered a definite asset.
