| Title: | Meet with partners from CDC-Uganda and National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Program of Uganda to develop a curriculum, requirements |
| Type: | Mission |
| Terms of Reference: | The WHO Stop TB Strategy advocates for improvement in information capture, reporting, and use at national and local levels. Currently there is a need to strengthen the capacity for monitoring and evaluation of TB control in Uganda, where the collection of accurate, timely and useful TB related information can be improved for patient management, program monitoring and evaluation, evidence based policies, and other decisions. CDC is supporting the Uganda National TB and Leprosy Program (NTLP) to build capacity of local and national TB staff to improve data quality by conducting operations research trainings on collection, analysis, dissemination, and use of data for decision-making. |
