| Terms of Reference: | To assist in facilitation of three activities: 1) Mentoring of engineers in the process of maintaining, repairing, and testing of Biological Safety Cabinets (BSCs); 2) Conduct one-week course on BSCs; 3) Conduct one-week course on Tuberculosis Laboratory Biosafety. The first two trainings were designed to build capacity within the Russian Federation to maintain, repair, and test BSCs to the new Russian Standard (equivalent to EN 12469- 2000). The third training was designed for TB Laboratory Managers interested in administrative, environmental, and PPE components of airborne infection control. |
