Terms of Reference:Investigators and project officers at DTBE/CDC-Atlanta and AURUM Health met to discuss the study entitled, “Contact investigation in the household of patients with TB and MDR TB in a setting with a high HIV burden: operational research to evaluate the yield for new cases of active TB and strategies for preventing further transmission.” Discussions centered on developing the specific standard operating procedures to pilot and implement the study in the Northwest Province, led by AURUM Health investigators/project officers. In addition, the subcontract between the Medical Research Council and AURUM Health had a few issues that needed to be addressed before it could be finalized.
