| Title: | Programme Review of NTP - Nepal CONSULTANT FOR THE POSITION OF TEAM LEADER |

| Terms of Reference: | Based on goals, objectives and organizational structure of the survey (see attachment) NTP/Nepal is seeking suitable candidates to the position of Team Leader for the group of national and international TB experts that will carry out the in-depth review of TB programme in Nepal.
TERMS OF REFERENCE FOR THE TEAM LEADER
1. To ensure proper coordination between the NTP organizing committee and each of the five sub-teams;
2. To provide technical support and leadership to the team and technical area where he/she will be assigned;
3. To facilitate the communication between the organizing committee (NTP) and the team members concerning logistic and managerial aspects
4. In co-ordination with the NTP Director, prepare the agenda for and lead the discussions with the concerned Nepalese authorities and other national and international stakeholders
5. To review the NTP Policy and Strategy in line with global and regional TB strategies and plans
6. To present the final recommendation of the review during the final debriefing of the team with concerned representatives of MoPH, CCM, donor community and other partners.
7. To prepare the final report in proper coordination with all the subgroup leaders and submit it to NTP Nepal within the set deadline.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. University degee in biomedical science from an internationally recognized university;
2. Postgraduate studies (master/PhD) in public health and/or epidemiology, communicable diseases, disease control.
3. Training in TB control.
WORK EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
1. Should have at least 10 years of experience in TB Control Program.
2. Should have previous experiences of similar international review missions.
3. The candidate should have direct personal experience in the formulation of policy and strategy for TB control programmes.
4. Ability to interact with people from different ethnic and cultural background and lead a team towards a common goal;
5. Capacity to produce quality and timely results even working under pressure and logistic constraints;
4. The candidate should be willing and fit to travel by road outside Kathmandu and spend the night in rural hostels if required.
