| Description: | TeAM provides health sector programme management support and policy expertise to international institutions, agencies and governments in developing countries with extensive network and experience on TB control in more than 60 countries.
Our expertise ranges from strengthening of health systems to vertical disease-specific programs, and related cross-cutting interventions.
We have experience working with the public, private and community sectors in low and middle income countries including fragile states and post-conflict settings.
TeAM covers the following areas of expertise: • Governance, health sector development, partners coordination • Health programme development and policy analysis • TB programme impact and performance assessment including cost analysis, efficiency effectiveness and ethics assessment • TB budget plan, auditing , TB and health financing and mapping • TB program risk assessment, planning and risk management approach, • Capacity building, training plan, training module development and human resource curriculum and planning focusing on TB , lung health and communicable diseases; • Planning, mid-term strategic plan, TB programme managemment • Global Fund request preparation for TB, HIV, malaria and health system strengthening, grant negotiation, PSM plan, M&E plan, TA plan, risk management plan, training plan, MESS workshop, PR and LFA TB technical support • TB drug management, procurement, supply and in-country management; • Monitoring and Evaluation, M&E plan, data quality control, TB services accreditation, • Stop TB strategy expertise on all component including diagnosis, MDR-TB programme management, TB/HIV collaborative activities, community involvement, PPM and vulnerable and neglected groups; • Meeting arrangement, facilitating and chairing metings, workshop and conferences.

| Current projects with TB component: | Recent support provided to: 1. the Global Fund on programme evaluation in Nepal and on review of the TB, HIV and malaria M&E tool (Rapid Service Quality Assessment); 2. the Global Drug Facilities on Haiti, South Sudan, Kenya, Morocco DRC TB programmes evaluation and drug management; 3. Catholic Relief Service, Principle Recipients in Mali and Ministry of Health , sub-recipient in Mali on M&E and strategic planning; 4. WHO HQ/AFRO on a) Zambia proposal development for the GF Transitional Funding Mechanism (TFM), b) reviewing 10 TFM proposals, c) facilitating workshop on TFM and d) facilitating the Ouiddah Benin TB international course; 5. UNDP/MOH in Haiti on lung health and Xray reading workshop; 6. International training on Global fund in Ouidah Benin for representatives from 17 countries in 2011 and 2012 7. the UNION on the French initiative to support the GF; 8. | Illustrative list of TA providers and areas of expertise: | • Global Fund TB Programme evaluation in Nepal. TeAM and HMST provide 3 experts on TB management, health economy and ethics and vulnerable groups during 40 days to assess epidemiological impact, value for money and performance of the Global Fund grants round 4,7 and NSA/R9. Performance of each component of the Stop TB strategy was technically measured against investments. • TeAM and HMST support the management of the Global Fund Principle Recipient “Catholic Relief Services - CRS” in Mali. Following Global Fund Inspector General investigation and R7 suspension, CRS seek the support of TeAM TB expertise to negotiate R10 under difficult situation and high Global Fund secretariat scrutiny. • HMST and TeAM support the management of the Global Fund Principle Recipient “Save the Children” in Bangladesh. Following Global Fund Inspector General investigation, Save the Children request support to improve its strategic approach and procedures in order to restart the Global Fund support in the country. • Global Drug Facility monitoring mission and review in South Sudan, Kenya, Morocco, DRC and Haiti. TeAM and HMST provide TB expert and drug management expert to conduct monitoring mission. • TeAM support the preparation of the Global Fund TFM (Transitional Funding Mechanism) in Zambia and the desk review of 10 TFM proposals • TeAM director is member of the GDF TRC (Technical Review Committee) and ex-member of the Global Fund of the TRP (Technical Review Panel)
