Media strategy A press
conference will be held on Tuesday 23 October to launch the Global Plan to Stop TB. During the Forum, reporters
will be interviewing ministers of the high TB burden countries.
Press/media key contacts Official channels of
communications: Stop TB Partnership Secretariat, WHO, and World Bank. Advisory and
consultative services for media activities to be provided by other Stop TB Partners.
Communications Strategy Various products are under
preparation (e.g. press kit, op-ed pieces, web-based
information, and video material).
Exhibition Various displays (posters, photographs)
will be set up at the Forum venue. Countries and Stop TB partners can display materials on
panels and in bookracks.
You can bring materials from your country or
organization, preferably printed, to showcase during our meeting of particular interest
material highlighting any of the following areas:
- TB achievements to date, specifically as it pertains to scaling up
- Public information and awareness campaigns launched within the last 18 months
- Social mobilization initiatives
As space is limited, display areas will be made available on a
first-come-first-serve-basis. Display panel dimensions are 4 ft. by 6 ft. or 1.23 m. by
1.84 m. Push-pins will be used to fasten or hold displayed items. Promotional materials
will not be considered.

To provide an opportunity for wider participation in discussions relating to the Forum,
