World TB Day 2003 is only 20 days away!

In this World TB Day Alert, you will find suggestions on how to create and use presentations to build awareness, a template presentation (Microsoft Powerpoint format), guidelines for presenting effectively and last, but certainly not least, the latest in our series of World TB Day screensavers!

Presentations are an important tool in delivering the Stop TB message. We have included a sample presentation for you to adapt accordingly and we hope that it will be disseminated widely before, during and after World TB Day.

We are very interested in how this presentation can be adapted to suit differing audiences as well as the kind of response it receives. We would be grateful if you would send us your adapted presentations for inclusion in the Highlights Report as this will demonstrate the various ways in which the StopTB messages were presented on World TB Day 2003.

The "Stop TB" screensaver which is the second one in a series of screensavers for World TB Day 2003, shows how we can address the devastating burden of TB. Each of the images represent the efforts of the Working Groups and the Global Drug Facility and they demonstrate how they are working towards the elimination of TB."
