Brief description of event: *
In last ten years on World TB days we have been organizing various innovative programs and creating awareness among the people. Starting from release of citizen’s report, organizing conference, seminar, workshops, debates, and rallies media discussions, media releases etc.
This year we are planning for :
Day 1(23.3.18)-
We propose to have a media sensitization workshop involving both electronic, press and social media to encourage them to cover various issues including case studies to have an impact on TB control program mechanism of the state .
Day 2(24.3.18) –
A seminar on immerging challenges and growing issues on gaps between ground reality and policy provisions of TB in Cuttack, Odisha. The RNTCP personals ,CDMO’s Office ,Cuttack ,Other key stake holders like TB Champions, TB activists, TB researchers ,NGOs, CBOs ,representative from Odisha State patient’s rights forum and medical practitioners . There will be sharing of the live case studies.
Day 3 (25.3.18) –
We also propose a concert in front of Big Bazzar (A largest market complex of the city) to create public awareness on TB and involve people through question answer session with instant prize distribution. There will be IEC awareness by Leaflet, Banner, Poster and hoardings etc. to multiply the impact.
All the three proposed programs will be organised in collaboration with Odisha State patient’s rights forum –The only active and vibrant network for TB in Odisha.
The overall expenditure of all the three events will come around Rs. 1,50,000/- if the impact an quality will be ensured .
You may support one or all three events as per your mandate , commitment and budget provision .We will be very happy if one of your representative will remain present in all the events to guide us .
