Stop TB Partnership

Monitoring & Support

As part of its grant service, GDF sends annual monitoring missions to client countries to provide technical assistance to National TB Programmes, support implementation of the DOTS strategy and assess adherence to the terms and conditions of GDF support. These monitoring missions are conducted independently or in conjunction with Stop TB partner visits. The mission team is usually composed of a drug management and a TB program management expert.

Stop TB Partnership’s Global Drug Facility (GDF) aims to apply market intelligence, strengthen procurement and global supply system and facilitate the uptake of new TB tools. GDF is providing technical assistance through its missions, regional leadership and ongoing supports to GDF clients. This includes participation in TB programme reviews with the key objective of strengthening countries’ capacity to ensure timely, equitable access to quality-assured products, including new TB medicines and regimens as well as ensuring sustainability of TB commodities supply.

GDF is ISO 9001:2015 certified for the provision of quality assured anti-TB drugs and related services to eligible national TB control programmes.
