National Partnerships
Introduction to National Partnerships
National partnerships to Stop TB are a new feature in the fight against tuberculosis. They bring all national stakeholders together to raise awareness for greater engagement and commitment. The nature of these partnerships is necessarily country-specific, expressing typical cultural and organizational diversity. In order to learn more about these new national partnerships and/or country coordination mechanisms, fact sheets have been developed on the basis of a questionnaire to ensure comparable and more or less standardized presentation of information. This information reflects the situations as of early 2005. These are likely to change, considering the dynamic developments that take place in many of the countries. Nevertheless we hope that these fact sheets will provide useful insight into national TB partnerships and will encourage others to consider similar initiatives to scale up the fight against TB.
Practical information is available below for countries that wish to set up National Partnerships to Stop TB:

If you have any questions or comments on a particular fact sheet, please feel free to contact the primary contact person of the country.
