Stop TB Partnership Working Group’s Core Group Community Representative Election
Formed in 2000, the Stop TB Partnership, is a global network of approximately 1000 organizations that work together to oversee the development of policy, research, and programs to eliminate TB which though curable kills about 2 million people a year.
The Coordinating Board (CB) is the governing body of the STBP. The CB coordinates the efforts of the Partnership’s Working Groups and creates policy and strategic direction to reduce the global burden of TB.
There are 7 Working Groups (WG) of the STBP. Each of the WG has a Core Group which is its leadership and decision making body. Each Core Group has two Community Representatives. There are 3 Community Representative positions being decided in this election.
