Global Green Light Committee seeks two new members
24 January - Geneva - The World Health Organization (WHO) and the Stop TB Partnership are recruiting two new members to serve on the Global Green Light Committee (gGLC).
The gGLC works with a network of regional Green Light Committees to provide advice to WHO, partners and countries on strategic and technical issues related to scaling up care for drug-resistant tuberculosis (DR-TB).
The two new members will serve on the gGLC from April 2013 to March 2015 and represent specific technical areas and constituencies. The first will have a background in programmatic management of drug-resistant TB care and represent national TB programmes or government representatives from high DR-TB burden countries. The second will have a background in drug management and represent technical or implementing partners or international nongovernmental organizations.
